d.i.y frida style flower clips

To wear flowers in your hair is not exactly anything groundbreaking, but this is an easy way to pop something pretty in your locks while getting ready.

All you need is above, I got everything I needed for under £10 from Ebay. Silk flowers look the least fake in my opinion, and the wire I use is a beading wire that is super strong  but easy to twist and bind.

First remove the flower from the stem and trim if necessary.
Thread the wire through the centre of the flower and curl at the end, so the wire won't fall through when pulled.
Then pull the wire so the curl is sitting firmly in the centre of the flower.
Cut the wire leaving about 10cms to play with and thread through the hair clip. Make sure to tighten this part with your pliers so it doesn't sit too wobbly.
Thread the remaining wire through the next flower and curl down as far as it can go with your pliers.
Ta-da! Pretty new flower clip!

These are so much easier to style on your hair when you're in a rush and you can wear them bunched at the front of your head like I have, or work them with braids, or tucked behind your ear!
